Q: Summer Break is upon us! What would be the perfect vacation spot for you to catch up on your reading & relax?
I'd like a nice cozy cottage, somewhere where the air is clean an there aren't too many people. Let's say Alaska. All I need in coffee, books, and internet access.
Oh, I love secluded places, too :) Thanks for stopping by! Old follower :)

ReplyDeleteSpending a few nights in a cottage in Alaska doesn't seem too bad. I think I'd love the peace and quiet it'd bring!
Sounds lovely!! :)

Exactly the same here! Those places really help me relax whereas big cities make me feel as if I need to do something, be somewhere etc. :D

Hm. Interesting answer. I'm not sure if I'd exactly choose Alaska, but to each their own. :)

I've always wanted to vaca in a cottage. Great choice. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. Love Alaska, although I'd probably be out hiking and exploring rather than reading.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
Oh, yeah. That would so work for me. Haven't ever been to Alaska but sounds good to me. Much better than the 100 degree days we get here during the summer!
ReplyDeleteHaha so interesting that you said Alaska, cause i just responded to your comment on mine about my cruise to Alaska and how great it was. We must be connected O.o
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome! :D

I answered something a little different but now that you mention that, that sounds perfect. I'd actually get through a lot of books due to how easily I get distracted while reading :P Good answer!

You have a very original pick! Most of the things I've seen are beaches and warm places. That's really more my thing, but I can imagine that some people like the clean air!

Thanks for stopping by - not so sure about Alaska (I'm pretty sick of snow), but somewhere isolated, without a lot of people, does sound great.
ReplyDeleteBob @ Beauty in Ruins
I would totally enjoy a nice visit to Alaska. As long as its not during the winter season!

Alaska's not a bad choice! I would definitely be more likely to be inside but a nice cabin in the woods with loads of books would be awesome! Plus my sister lives there and she'd LOVE to have me visit!

Hi. Even though I've never been to Alaska, after my mother went there she talked about it for the rest of their life. It hadn't come to mind as a summer reading destination prior to reading your post but now I think, why not? Thanks for sharing!
