Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are
some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
The first one that comes to mind is the mothers of the Chesapeake Bay series by Nora Roberts. Anna (from Sea Swept), Grace (from Rising Tides), and Sybill (from Inner Harbor), basically become adoptive mothers to Seth Quinn. These books have some of the best family relationships that I've seen in any books. If you haven't read them yet, check them out here: Sea Swept (Chesapeake Bay, Book 1)
I have to check them out. I have a soft spot for non-traditional families in novels. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read those books yet, so I'll have to! :D Thank you a lot!

Haven't read those. But I do like seeing good relationships with parents in books. I had one good parent, so I like to see my fictional characters with the same. :)
