I agree that it's not worth settling for less, but at the same time I don't want to end up "sick of" my favourite book. I was very conflicted about this one!
I do wonder about getting sick of my favourite book, but there are always new angles and nuances to discover. Besides, I just can't bring myself to waste time with mediocre reads.
