And so we arrive in a brand new, shiny month. April was a truly excellent month for reading. I blew through thirteen novels, and not one of them was appallingly bad (although one was pretty boring). I have so many reviews I need to write, but first and foremost--the best book of April...
Yeah, if you follow me on Goodreads, this won't surprise you at all. Easy by Tammara Webber is sweet and consuming and utterly swoon worthy. I think this is what I imagined when everyone started talking about "new adult". The characters are adults, living and functioning more or less on their own, but they still have a lot of life lessons to learn. I look forward to reviewing this in full very soon.
So, because I'm obviously insanely behind in my reviews, there won't be a Watch This Wednesday post today. Instead, here's a loose posting schedule for the first part of the merry month of May.
May 3rd: Review of The Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter
May 4th: Review of Tidal by Emily Snow
May 5th: Review of Something About You by Julie James
May 6th: Miscellaneous Monday: Topic TBA
May 7th: Review of The Elite by Kiera Cass
May 8th: Watch This Wednesday: Iron Man 3
May 10th: Review of Rogue Rider by Larissa Ione
May 11th: Review of Easy by Tammara Webber
I'm currently reading The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley and Cut & Run by Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux. Assuming I finish both novels, the reviews should be up towards the middle of the month. After that, I'm looking forward to A Prior Engagement by Karina Bliss and, later, Dare You To by Katie McGarry.
And that's all for now, folks. Happy Reading!
I haven't read any of those books myself yet but I've heard so many good things about Easy that I think I'll have to pick it up very soon. And I've also heard a lot of good things about the Urban & Roux books. I might have to check those out too :) Well done on getting so many books finished last month!
